Zurich NA is seeking a Contract Surety Underwriter within the West region to strengthen our portfolio and elevate client relationships across 13 Western States. This market-facing, highly technical role offers opportunities to manage large accounts and travel about 20% while building broker and agency partnerships.

The position requires underwriting expertise, regulatory knowledge, and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of line/s of business and the legal and regulatory guidelines.
• Knowledge of time restraints for quotes on new and renewal business.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.

• Underwriting and analyzing new and renewal business for large contract surety.
• Navigating complex assignments with confidence and autonomy.
