Zurich Insurance in Atlanta is seeking an Underwriting Specialist or Executive Underwriter – Contract Surety to join our team. The role emphasizes technical underwriting, client-facing work, and cross-sell support within delegated authorities.

The position offers travel about 25%, a competitive pay range, and eligibility for incentive plans along with a 401K match. You will develop agency and broker relationships, execute external marketing strategies, and ensure compliance with underwriting

Formación

• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 3+ years of experience in the Underwriting or Market Facing area.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 6+ years of experience in the Claims or Underwriting Support area.
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 1+ years of experience in the Underwriting or Market Facing area.
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 4+ years of experience in the Claims or Underwriting Support area.

Responsabilidades

• Production and underwriting of new Surety accounts and existing business.
• Internal marketing and production within Zurich North America in support of cross-sell efforts.
• Execution of the external marketing strategy.
• Adherence to underwriting rules and guidelines, insurance laws, regulations and the Zurich Way of underwriting.
• Establish new as well as develop existing agency and broker relationships.
• Work within limits and authorities on assignments of varying degrees of complexity.
