Job summary

Zurich Insurance Company Ltd. is seeking an Underwriting Specialist or Executive Underwriter for the Contract Surety Division in our Atlanta, GA office. The role involves underwriting, marketing and client service for Surety lines, with about 25% travel and a hybrid work arrangement.

The position offers strong compensation with base salary plus incentives and a generous 401K match, plus extensive benefits. Candidates with experience in underwriting, market facing roles, and broker relationship

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) with strong knowledge of Contract Surety lines and regulatory guidelines.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills with ability to build broker relationships in GA.
• Experience related to underwriting, market facing roles, and cross-sell activities.

Responsibilities

• Production and underwriting of new Surety accounts and existing business.
• Internal marketing and cross-sell support within Zurich North America.
• Execute external marketing strategy and maintain agency/broker relationships.
