Job summary

Blattner in Avon, Minnesota seeks a contracts professional to manage Subcontracts, Purchase Contracts and Change Orders on major projects. You will negotiate with Subcontractors and Suppliers, review documents, and ensure compliance throughout the contracting process.

Responsibilities include risk assessment, coordinating signatures, and maintaining the project library to support project execution. A 2–4 year degree plus 3 years of experience is required.

Qualifications

• 2-4 year degree or equivalent
• 3 years of relatable experience required
• MS Word experience required
• Experience with SharePoint and Excel preferred
• Contract or legal experience

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains relationships with Blattner's Subcontractors and Suppliers; acts as Blattner's primary point of contact on Subcontracts, material Purchase Orders, and Purchase Contracts during negotiation
• Prepares and reviews potential risks involved with the Subcontract, material Purchase Order, and Purchase Contract requirements; provides suggested revisions to the Blattner negotiation team
• Coordinates review of Subcontracts, Engineering Contracts, Purchase Contracts, Change Orders, material procurement POs, and landowner/field agreements
• Interprets proposal or request form to determine which contract form is best suited to scope of work
• Coordinates and manages secure signatures on documents and maintains the project support library
• Analyzes and identifies risks in Subcontracts, Engineering Contracts, Purchase Contracts, and material Purchase Orders
