Job summary

The role requires a BA/BS in a related field and several years in subcontracts or procurement, with strong knowledge of contract terms and compliance. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Purchasing, Business, Technical or related field.
• Six years of relevant experience in Subcontracts, Construction Project Management, or Procurement preferred.
• Strong knowledge of subcontract processes and vendor management, terms, and conditions.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and manages assigned subcontracts for projects while following established policies and procedures.
• Ensures subcontract documents are issued correctly and on schedule.
• Assists with development and monitoring of project subcontract budgets and schedules.
• Assists with the establishment and/or monitoring of subcontract goals.
• Participates in meetings for assigned project(s), representing the Subcontracts department.
• Files appropriate documents and follows filing rules.
• Executes and manages the subcontract development process including bid list preparation, solicitation of RFPs, evaluating, negotiating and awarding subcontracts.
• Leads negotiations for assigned subcontracts.
