Blattner Company seeks professionals for contract-related roles supporting nationwide renewable energy projects. You will review Subcontracts, Engineering and Purchase Contracts, Change Orders, and POs, negotiating with Subcontractors and Suppliers through contract execution.
The role emphasizes risk assessment, identifying potential issues, and proposing revisions to protect project interests while coordinating signatures and document control across project teams.
Collaborates with Attorneys, Project Managers, Project Teams, Subcontractors, Suppliers, and cross functional teams throughout assigned projects on all legal matters including contracts, compliance requirements, change orders, lien waivers, and other related verifications. Performs review and revisions of Subcontracts, Engineering Contracts, Purchase Contracts, Change Orders, and material Purchase Orders.
Develops and maintains relationships with and delivers outstanding service to Blattner's Subcontractors and Suppliers. Acts as Blattner's primary point of contact, internally and externally, on Subcontracts, material Purchase Orders, and Purchase Contracts during negotiation. Guides contract review and supports negotiations with Blattner's Subcontractors and Suppliers on awarded projects through contract execution. Prepares and reviews potential risks involved with the Subcontract, material Purchase Order, and Purchase Contract requirements. Provides suggested revisions to the Blattner negotiation team and delivers creative solutions. Coordinates review of Subcontracts, Engineering Contracts, Purchase Contracts, Change Orders, material procurement purchase orders, various miscellaneous landowner/field agreements, and other project related tasks involved in building the project. Interprets proposal or request form to determine which contract form is best suited to scope of work. Coordinates and manages secure signatures on documents and maintains the project support library. Analyzes and identifies risks in Subcontracts, Engineering Contracts, Purchase Contracts, and material Purchase Orders.
2-4-year degree; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 3 years of relatable experience required. Microsoft Word experience required.
Experience with SharePoint, and Microsoft Excel preferred. Contract or legal experience.
