Job summary

Paradise Valley Unified School District is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to support Sky Crossing Elementary School in a timesheet hourly, temporary position. You will assess students, plan and deliver therapy, and collaborate with teachers and families to promote communication skills.

The assignment runs from 10/19/2026 to 12/18/2026. A valid AZ SLP license and educator certification are required, with strong teamwork and documentation duties emphasized.

Qualifications

• Experience with assessing articulation, fluency, voice and language skills.
• Ability to collaborate with parents, teachers, and clinicians.
• Knowledge of regulations and policies for school-based speech therapy.

Responsibilities

• Assess students' communication skills to identify disorders and determine eligibility.
• Coordinate meetings and IEPs, prepare evaluation results and treatment plans.
• Provide therapy and train staff and parents on communication strategies.
• Maintain records and prepare progress reports and required documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, administrators and teachers to support student goals.
• Develop and implement treatment plans to minimize impact of disorders.
