Job summary

The SLP will assess, plan and implement treatment to support students with communication disorders, collaborate with families and school staff, and ensure regulatory compliance while maintaining detailed records.

Qualifications

• MA/MS degree in Communication Disorders/Speech-Language Pathology.
• AZ Department of Education Teaching Certificate – SLP (Pre K–12).
• AZ SLP Licensure by AZ Department of Health Services.
• AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• FLSA Status - Exempt.

Responsibilities

• Assesses students’ communication skills to identify disorders and plan treatment.
• Collaborates with parents, teachers, physicians and staff to coordinate services.
• Develops treatment plans and provides therapy for students.
• Instructs students and staff on assistive communication technologies.
• Maintains records and prepares reports for compliance and reference.
• Participates in IEP meetings and staff trainings.
