Job summary

Cross Country Education is seeking a local contract School Speech Language Pathologist for Tempe, Arizona, to support elementary students with speech and language services.

In this 41-week, 40-hours-per-week position, you will conduct evaluations, develop IEPs, monitor progress, and collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams. The assignment runs through December 2026 or January 2027, with a competitive hourly pay and weekly payroll.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Valid Arizona Department of Health Services Speech-Language Pathology License.
• Valid Arizona Department of Education Speech-Language Pathologist Certification.
• Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
• Active Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Experience conducting speech-language assessments, developing IEPs, and providing school-based services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations, interpret assessment results, and develop recommendations.
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for elementary students receiving speech-language services.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate services.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, student records, and Medicaid documentation while ensuring compliance.
