Job summary

Vizient is seeking a detail-oriented contract management professional to optimize the sourcing organization's processes across functions. You will coordinate intake, routing, and contract completion within the member’s contract management system, partnering with local and national stakeholders to ensure timely approvals.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree preferred.
• 2+ years' experience required.
• Solid knowledge of Excel preferred.
• Experience in healthcare contracting or procurement preferred.
• Excellent business requirement elicitation, analysis, and documentation skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment that requires quick turnaround and quality output.

Responsibilities

• Manage the intake, routing, assignment, and contract completion of sourcing requests via member’s contract management system.
• Assist sourcing personnel in understanding the contract approval process and ensure the process is completed in a timely, professional, and thorough manner.
• Ensure compliance with member contracting policies.
• Ensure all required data fields and supporting documents are accurately completed for contract approval.
• Route contracts for appropriate approvals in member’s contract management system through the appropriate workflows and approval levels as dictated by the member’s contracting guidelines.
• Follow up and resolve issues with local and national stakeholders.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
