Job summary

Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, WI, is seeking a Contract Specialist to manage contracting activities across Emplify Health. Hybrid work with 2 days on-site per week.

Responsibilities include reviewing, negotiating, and maintaining contracts; coordinating with departments; guiding data-entry processes; and monitoring performance to ensure compliance and value.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Legal, Finance, Healthcare Administration or related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in managed care, business, legal studies, health or related field.

  • Review, negotiate, and implement contracts, including audit participation and cross-departmental problem-solving.
  • Lead and train team members in contract data entry processes; collaborate with IS to develop reports and workflows.
  • Monitor contract performance using software tools and internal feedback to ensure service quality.
  • Support senior leadership in creating and maintaining service contracts; manage renewals and resolve issues.

On-site location is La Crosse.Position Summary:The Contract Specialist is responsible for providing a broad range of contracting and related services for Emplify Health. This position is responsible for managing the preparation, compliance, development, review, maintenance and changes of contractual arrangements, to include all agreements referred to the department. Collects internal data and information to analyze, evaluate and facilitate administrative follow-up to the performance, operational, and delivery aspects of contracts.
