Job summary

Gundersen Health System is seeking an experienced Application Analyst focused on Epic Contracts to join our Managed Care team. This role serves as the primary technical resource for contract modeling, reimbursement configuration, and variance workflow across Revenue Cycle, Payer Relations, Finance, and IT.

The ideal candidate will have Epic Resolute PB/HB contract experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to translate complex contractual language into system configurations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 2–4 years of relevant work experience in healthcare Revenue Cycle.
  • Epic Resolute PB or HB Billing Certification preferred.
  • Ability to interpret complex contracts and translate to configuration.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain Epic HB and PB contract configurations for hospital and professional billing.
  • Interpret contracts to create accurate reimbursement logic in Epic.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Cycle, Payer Relations, Finance and IT on contract workflows.
  • Test and validate contract builds and updates.

This role serves as the primary technical and operational resource for contract modeling, reimbursement configuration, and variance workflow support across Revenue Cycle, Payer Relations, Finance, and IT teams.The ideal candidate will possess or be wiling to learn a deep knowledge of healthcare reimbursement methodologies, payer contract interpretation, Epic Resolute Contract Management functionality. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring accurate expected reimbursement calculations, supporting contract negotiations, and maintaining contract integrity across hospital and professional billing environments.Responsibilities:Responsible for Epic Hospital Billing (HB) and Professional Billing (PB) contract build including interpreting, building, migrating and updating complex payer contracts (Commercial, Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid) on the Epic Contract Management platform.
