Job summary

Emplify Health seeks a 2nd shift Logistics Supervisor to lead the Central Service Center warehouse in West Salem, WI. You will oversee a team of ~10 stockroom clerks, manage inventory, and coordinate with carriers to ensure on-time, cost-efficient service.

You’ll develop staff, enforce safety standards, and utilize WMS/ERP and barcode tech to optimize operations. Requires 2–4 years in healthcare/materials management and supervisory experience.

Qualifications

  • Requires High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Associates in business preferred.
  • 2–4 years of MMIS/inventory control experience.
  • Supervisory experience in healthcare or materials management preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control, cycle counting, demand planning, and stock optimization.
  • Experience with WMS, ERP, and barcode technology.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily logistics operations, including transportation and warehousing.
  • Supervise logistics staff: hiring, training, scheduling, performance management.
  • Ensure timely and accurate movement of goods; optimize cost and efficiency.
  • Monitor inventory levels with warehouse and purchasing teams.
  • Develop and implement logistics policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with carriers and 3PL providers to secure transportation services.
  • Resolve logistics issues promptly; use logistics systems to track shipments and metrics.

You will lead, coach, schedule, and develop staff while partnering with internal leaders and vendors to improve service, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction across the organization.Major Responsibilities Include:Oversee and coordinate daily logistics operations, including transportation and warehousing, activities.Supervise logistics staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.Ensure timely and accurate movement of goods from suppliers to customers while optimizing cost and efficiency.Monitor and manage inventory levels in collaboration with warehouse and purchasing teams.Develop and implement logistics policies, procedures, and safety standards to ensure compliance and operational excellence.Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers to secure transportation services.Resolve logistics issues such as delays, damages, or discrepancies promptly and effectively.Utilize logistics management systems and software to track shipments, inventory, and performance metrics.What's Available:1.0 FTESchedule : Monday-Friday PMs typically between 2:00pm-10:30pmLocation : Onsite in West Salem, WICompensation: Starting at $54,000 with opportunity for higher pay based on relevant work experienceWhat You'll Need:Education : High School Diploma or equivalency, required.
