Job summary

Westinghouse's WECTEC Staffing Services is seeking a Sourcing Specialist Level 1 for a 1-year contract (W-2) at Juno Beach, FL. You will execute sourcing for assigned business areas, manage simple negotiations, and report to the onsite manager. 1+ year procurement experience and an undergraduate degree are preferred.

The role involves collaboration with business units, legal, and ISC personnel, plus driving cost efficiencies and supplier performance management.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of supply chain/procurement experience.
• Undergraduate degree with a preference in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Execute the sourcing process for assigned areas; interact with operating business units, legal experts, ISC personnel; external interaction with suppliers and industry analysts.
• Analyze responses to simple bid requests; distill commercial differences and provide succinct supplier-selection recommendations.
• Conduct simple negotiations; lead and/or participate on sourcing project teams.
• Recommend and communicate sourcing strategy, progress and results to supervision and ISC management.
• Develop and maintain relationships with business units and suppliers; provide market data to support supplier selection and performance management.
• Drive down the Total cost of ownership.
