Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC, through WECTEC Staffing Services, seeks a Sourcing Specialist Level 1 for a 1-year contract in Juno Beach, FL. You will execute sourcing processes, analyze bid responses, and lead negotiations while reporting to the onsite manager.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of procurement experience and an undergraduate degree in related fields; wage starts at $30–$35 per hour with benefits and a focus on cost control and supplier performance.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of supply chain/procurement experience.
• Undergraduate degree with a preference in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering or related fields preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute the sourcing process for assigned areas; interact with operating units, legal experts, ISC personnel, suppliers and industry analysts.
• Analyze responses to simple bid requests and distill differences to support supplier selection for contract award.
• Conduct simple negotiations and participate on sourcing project teams.
• Recommend and communicate sourcing strategy, progress and results to supervision and ISC management.
• Develop and maintain relationships with business units and suppliers; provide market data to support supplier selection and ongoing performance management.
• Drive down the total cost of ownership.
• Participate in sourcing data analysis, forecasting and planning; develop new sources of supply.
