Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC, through WECTEC Staffing Services, is seeking a Purchasing Specialist for a 1-year contract (W-2) in Juno Beach, FL. You will manage existing POs, support data cleanup and SRM system preparation for the transition to GEP, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth purchasing workflows.

Ideal candidates have experience in supply chain, procurement, and strong Excel skills; familiarity with ERP/SRM systems or procurement platforms is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in supply chain, procurement, purchasing, or related operations.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables).
• Comfortable working with ERP, SRM, or procurement systems.

Responsibilities

• Create purchase orders (POs) and promptly.
• Manage existing POs, including updates, confirmations, and issue resolution.
• Support special projects such as identifying and resolving past due purchase orders; data cleanup and validation.
• Prepare the SRM system for the transition to GEP.
• Collaborate with procurement, planning, finance, and suppliers to ensure smooth purchasing workflows.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation to support audits and reporting.
• Assist with process improvements and standardization across the supply chain.
