Job summary

Waypoint is seeking an individual to share their home and support an adult with a developmental disability in a family setting. This contract position involves providing daily living support 12 months a year and coordinating with education, employment, recreation, and health goals.

You will be part of a supportive agency offering opportunities for professional development and access to training, with the potential for needed certifications provided by the agency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years old and pass background checks.
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
• Experience with individuals with ID/DD preferred but not required.
• DSP and CPR certifications; training provided if needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide shared living in your home to support an adult with ID/DD.
• Assist with education, employment, recreation, family inclusion, health and independent living goals.
• Collaborate with the person’s team to identify and achieve personal goals.
