Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join our Lansing, MI client engagement. You will coach teams on Scrum practices, facilitate ceremonies, remove impediments, and protect the team from distractions while driving collaboration and continuous improvement across a multi-team program.

Requirements include 7+ years as Scrum Master in Agile environments, experience with SAFe/Kanban, and strong DevOps familiarity, especially Azure DevOps.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environments.
• Experience with enterprise financial or debt management software.
• Advanced knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, SAFe or similar.
• Strong SDLC, SADLC and DevOps understanding.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Refinement, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives.
• Remove impediments and manage dependencies across cross-functional teams.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps lifecycle management.
• Coach Product Owners in backlog refinement, estimation and prioritization.
• Experience with API-driven or data-centric systems and regulatory considerations.

Responsibilities

• Coach teams on Scrum practices and foster continuous improvement.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and remove blockers.
• Protect the team from external distractions and manage dependencies.
• Collaborate across engineering, QA, product, architecture, compliance, and operations.
• Lead multiple Agile teams or a scaled program context.
• Support cloud-first environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).
