Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to support students with growth in communication in a school setting near New Caney, TX. This contract role offers collaboration with educators and families and direct therapy to students in classrooms and small groups.

Requires a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Texas licensure; CCC-SLP is preferred. Experience with IEPs and multidisciplinary teams is highly desirable, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• License to practice as an SLP in Texas
• CCC-SLP preferred
• Experience with school-aged children is desirable
• Familiarity with IEP processes and multidisciplinary collaboration

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech, language, and communication screenings and comprehensive evaluations
• Develop and implement IEP goals and treatment plans
• Deliver targeted speech and language therapy in individual and group settings
• Document progress and prepare detailed reports for parents, staff, and administration
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other school professionals to support student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team decision-making
• Provide education and resources to parents and staff regarding communication disorders
• Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
