Job summary

Sweetwater Care seeks Registered Nurses for local and travel contracts in California. You will provide high-quality patient care in acute rehabilitation settings and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing staff.

The role requires an active RN license (Arizona) and at least 1 year of hospital experience, with flexibility to work varying shifts across facilities. Proficiency with electronic charting is required and BLS is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Arizona.
• 1 year hospital experience.
• Experience in an acute rehabilitation hospital.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Must be efficient in electronic charting system.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• Current TB test within a year.
• Physical within 6 months.
• Fingerprint clearance (current).

Responsibilities

• Ensures proper resident care is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
• Develop and ensure the nursing care plan and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants
• Makes nursing diagnoses, which serve as the basis for the strategy of care
• Collaborates with the resident, members of the healthcare team
• Records the administration of medication
• Monitor assigned staff to ensure established safety regulations are followed and that all tasks are performed following all state and government regulations and safety procedures as outlined by the facility
• Follows procedures related to the use of nursing equipment and supplies
• Performs other duties as directed
