Job summary

Sweetwater Care in Pasadena, CA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for local and travel assignments. You will ensure resident care in a clean, safe environment, develop nursing care plans, and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants to deliver high‑quality care.

An active RN license is required (Arizona in the posting), hospital experience is preferred, you must be able to work flexible hours, and be proficient with electronic charting.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required (Arizona per posting).
• Experience as RN in acute rehab / acute care settings preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Efficient in electronic charting systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensures proper resident care in a clean and safe environment.
• Develop and ensure the nursing care plan and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants
• Makes nursing diagnoses, which serve as the basis for the strategy of care
• Collaborates with the resident, members of the healthcare team
• Records the administration of medication
• Monitor assigned staff to ensure established safety regulations are followed and that all tasks are performed following all state and government regulations and safety procedures as outlined by the facility
• Follows procedures related to the use of nursing equipment and supplies
• Performs other duties as directed

• Develop and ensure the nursing care plan and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants
• Makes nursing diagnoses, which serve as the basis for the strategy of care
• Collaborates with the resident, members of the healthcare team
• Records the administration of medication

Qualifications of the Registered Nurse include:

• An active RN license in the state of Arizona.
• Prior experience as an RN in a acute rehabilatation hospital.
• The desire to care for patients in an acute care setting and act with integrity.
• The ability to work flexible hours.
• Must have 1 year hospital experience.
• Must be efficent in electronical charting system.
• BLS(required)/ACLS (preferred)
• Current TB with in a year
• Physical within 6 months
• Finger Print Card clearance (current)
