Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our staffing team for local and travel contracts. The RN will develop and implement nursing care plans, collaborate with physicians and therapists, and ensure high-quality patient care in a safe environment.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license in AZ, has at least one year of hospital experience, and is comfortable with flexible hours and electronic charting.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in AZ.
• One year hospital experience.
• Experience in acute rehab setting preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Proficient in electronic charting systems.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• Current TB test within the past year.
• Physical within 6 months.
• Finger Print Card clearance current.

Responsibilities

• Develop and ensure nursing care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Maintain resident care in a clean and safe environment.
• Record administration of medications.
• Monitor staff to ensure safety regulations are followed.
• Perform other duties as directed.

Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse include but are not limited to:

• Ensures proper resident care is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
• Develop and ensure the nursing care plan and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants
• Makes nursing diagnoses, which serve as the basis for the strategy of care
• Collaborates with the resident, members of the healthcare team
• Records the administration of medication
• Monitor assigned staff to ensure established safety regulations are followed and that all tasks are performed following all state and government regulations and safety procedures as outlined by the facility
• Follows procedures related to the use of nursing equipment and supplies
• Performs other duties as directed

Qualifications of the Registered Nurse include:

• An active RN license in the state of Arizona.
• Prior experience as an RN in a acute rehabilatation hospital.
• The desire to care for patients in an acute care setting and act with integrity.
• The ability to work flexible hours.
• Must have 1 year hospital experience.
• Must be efficent in electronical charting system.
• BLS(required)/ACLS (preferred)
• Current TB with in a year
• Physical within 6 months
• Finger Print Card clearance (current)
