Job summary

Northwell Career Site seeks a registered nurse for a 13-week assignment in New York. The incumbent will assess physiologic and psychosocial health, develop a detailed care plan, coordinate with physicians and the care team, and ensure safe administration of medications and procedures.

Responsibilities include patient education, discharge planning, and collaboration with multidisciplinary staff to optimize patient outcomes. Active NYS/CT RN license and required certifications are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current NYS and/or CT RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN, and C-EFM certifications required.
• 1–2 years of professional nursing experience in the related specialty.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physiologic health status.
• Develop and implement plan of care with priorities.
• Coordinate care with physicians and health team.
• Administer medications safely.
• Educate patient and family.
• Monitor and document patient responses.
• Assist with discharge planning.
• Collaborate with care team to optimize outcomes.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards.
• Provide leadership and delegation on unit.
• Perform related duties as required.
