Job summary

PayJoy is seeking a Legal & Compliance Analyst to support implementation and execution of compliance controls related to local regulations and PayJoy programs. You will review and draft documents, respond to routine inquiries, and help ensure regulatory alignment with company objectives.

You will monitor local laws, update contracts, and work across departments to mitigate risks while upholding PayJoy’s standards and policies.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in law required.
At least 1 year internship in legal or compliance.
Strong legal reasoning and analytical skills.
Teamwork and ethical record; ability to work with key objective metrics.

Responsibilities

Monitor and interpret local regulations to ensure compliance with applicable laws.
Prepare, review, and update contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
Respond to routine legal and compliance inquiries from internal stakeholders, providing guidance.
Assist in designing, implementing, and monitoring compliance initiatives aligned with policies.
Identify and address potential legal and regulatory risks, proposing solutions to reduce impact on operations.
Work closely with other departments to ensure alignment on compliance and legal requirements.
