Job summary

Aspire Senior Living New Florence, MO, is seeking a Contract Nurse (RN) for an 8-week local contract. The role features 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends and a full-time night schedule.

You will provide bedside nursing, administer medications, monitor vitals, and contribute to care planning with the interdisciplinary team. Required: Missouri RN license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and 1–2 years in long-term or geriatric care; new grads may be considered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in Missouri.
• 1–2 years of nursing experience preferred, especially in long-term or geriatric care.
• New graduates may be considered based on community needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for residents including medications, wound care and vital signs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate resident records including progress notes and MARs.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Participate in quality improvement to deliver exceptional resident care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to our residents, including administering medications, wound care, and vital signs monitoring

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state Missouri.
• 1–2 years of nursing experience preferred, particularly in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, senior living, or geriatrics.
• New graduate RNs may be considered based on community needs and applicable requirements.
