Job summary

Compass is seeking a Contract Recruiter in New Jersey to drive talent acquisition across multiple departments. You will partner with hiring managers to shape sourcing strategies, manage the end-to-end recruitment life cycle, and promote the Compass brand to attract top talent.

You will source active and passive candidates through referrals, internal databases, and research while maintaining timely communication with applicants and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience recruiting and sourcing.
• Experience managing candidate pipelines.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• B.A. or B.S. with a strong academic record.
• Multi-tasking with a robust/full pipeline.
• Strong interpersonal skills for engaging active and passive candidates.
• Strong interviewing techniques.
• ATS knowledge (Greenhouse or Oracle is a plus).

Responsibilities

• Manage full recruitment life cycle: sourcing, resume review, screenings, and interviews.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand department needs and screen applicants.
• Proactively source active and passive candidates via referrals, databases, and research.
• Communicate with candidates professionally and respond promptly.
• Promote the Compass brand to attract strong candidates.
