Job summary

Compass is seeking a Contract Recruiter in New York to drive talent acquisition strategies across departments. You’ll partner with hiring managers, source candidates, screen resumes, and manage interviews while promoting the Compass brand to top talent.

You should have 3+ years of recruiting experience, strong communication skills, and a proven ability to manage a full pipeline. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience recruiting and sourcing.
• Experience managing candidate pipelines.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills.
• B.A. or B.S. with a strong academic record.
• Ability to multi-task and manage a robust pipeline with efficiency.
• Strong interpersonal skills to engage both active and passive candidates.
• Proficient interviewing techniques.
• Knowledge of an Applicant Tracking System (Greenhouse or Oracle is a plus).

Responsibilities

• Manage and drive the full recruitment life cycle by sourcing, reviewing resumes, coordinating screenings and interviews, and assist in determining the suitability of applicants in various departments for employment.
• Work with hiring managers to understand each department’s needs and screen incoming applicants quickly and effectively.
• Proactively source active and passive candidates through referrals, networking, internal databases, and innovative research tactics.
• Communicate with candidates professionally and be immediately responsive.
• Promote the brand and use creativity to attract and market the Company to qualified candidates.
