Job summary

Tempus is seeking aContract Recruiter for a 6‑month engagement to support Sales and Customer Success teams in a hybrid Chicago office. The role drives end‑to‑end recruitment, from sourcing and interviewing to offers and onboarding coordination.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of full‑cycle recruiting, with healthcare recruitment experience and familiarity with Workday ATS. This position emphasizes strong communication and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of full-cycle, internal recruiting experience.
• Sales recruitment experience preferred.
• Healthcare recruitment experience preferred.
• Experience with Workday ATS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate regularly with hiring teams and recruiters about interview progress and updates.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to define role requirements and create compelling job descriptions.
• Source and attract candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, and direct outreach.
• Screen resumes and conduct initial phone or video interviews to assess qualifications and cultural fit.
• Coordinate and schedule interviews with internal teams for a smooth candidate experience.
• Maintain accurate candidate records in the ATS and report on key metrics.
• Assist in negotiating offers and extending them to selected candidates.
• Track key recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill and source of hire.
• Support employer branding by promoting Tempus’ culture and EVP in outreach.
