Job summary

Tailing International, LLC is seeking a Contract Safety Advisor for our West Memphis Data Center. You will coordinate safety programs, lead field safety efforts, and ensure client and regulatory compliance across projects in Arkansas.

The role requires 5+ years in construction safety, OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, and a safety degree or CSP/AS PSP. You will conduct trainings, perform audits, and support incident investigations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years in construction safety.
• OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR and a Degree in Safety or CSP/SMP/ASP/CHST required.
• Prefer electrical contractor safety experience and experience supporting union contractors.
• Must conduct daily/weekly safety trainings.
• Ability to walk and be on feet most of the workday.
• Must pass pre-employment and criminal background check.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Prevent accidents, injuries and claims by being visible in the field and walking jobs ~50% of time.
• Develop and deliver Safety Training and New Hire Orientations per programs.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, Client or Project safety regulations and policies.
• Prevent and mitigate employee injuries and illnesses.
• Lead/assist in accident investigations and return-to-work programs.
• Conduct job site safety audits daily or weekly per project demands.
• Anticipate, develop, implement, and measure hazard controls and programs.
• Inspire and coach employees to achieve safety goals.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding injuries and claims.
• Take a proactive approach in claims and injury reduction.
• Act as liaison for project drug and alcohol testing.
• Other duties may be assigned as Client needs dictate.

The individual in this position is responsible for the coordination and supervision of the large electrical clients/project health and safety programs and policies.The safety professional will work directly for the national electrical subcontractor.

Safety Professionals will typically plan, lead, and direct the Health and Safety Policies and Procedures to site or client supervision.

Job Qualifications

• Must have five or more years’ experience in construction safety.
• Must have:OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR and either a Degree in Safety or the CSP, SMP, ASP or CHST.
• Prefer: electrical contractor safety experience and experience supporting union contractors.
• Must be able to conduct daily and weekly safety trainings.
• Ability to walk and be on feet most of the workday.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
• Ability to enter confined spaces.
• Ability to carry up to 50-pounds of safety/construction related equipment.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment and criminal background check.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
