Job summary

Atrium seeks a temporary contractor to work at Humana as a data product owner focusing on enterprise data products and streaming pipelines. You will own Databricks pipelines, Kafka topics, APIs, and analytics, delivering clear contracts and quality rules.

You will translate use cases into features and stories, manage backlogs, and collaborate with producers and consumers to ensure reliable data delivery, lineage, and actionable insights for Humana's analytic landscape.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of product ownership, business analysis, operations, or related experience.
• Experience managing backlogs and creating features, stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation.
• Strong Agile, analytical, facilitation, testing, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Enterprise data, engineering, streaming, API, analytics, or governance experience.
• Working knowledge of Databricks, SQL, Spark, Delta Lake, Kafka topics, and event schemas.

This job posting is for a temporary contractor role as an employee of Atrium assigned to work at Humana.

Own detailed delivery for enterprise data products, Databricks workloads, APIs, Kafka topics, event streams, quality, lineage, and consumers.

Primary Scope

• Databricks pipelines, tables, and Delta products
• Kafka producers, consumers, topics, schemas, retention, and ownership
• APIs, quality, lineage, metadata, access, Power BI, analytics, and AI

Key Responsibilities

• Translate use cases into stories, acceptance criteria, data contracts, and SLAs.
• Define Kafka topic purpose, ownership, schemas, producers, consumers, replay, and quality.
• Coordinate Databricks backlog, validation, lineage, release readiness, and adoption.

Expected Deliverables and Outcomes

• Delivery-ready data backlog.
• Documented contracts, topic requirements, quality rules, lineage, and tests.

Qualifications

Pay Rate Range

The individual selected for this role will be offered the role as an employee of Atrium; compensation, medical benefits, fringe benefits and other terms and conditions of employment shall be presented by Atrium upon offer. The pay rate range provided is a reasonable estimate of the anticipated compensation range for this job at the time of posting. The actual pay rate will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, location and/or being pursued and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition, this role will be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements.
