Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where employed.
• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws, label and centrifuge specimens, and record maintenance data.
• Explain venipuncture procedures clearly to patients and prepare specimens for transport.
• Ensure specimens are stored correctly, follow protocols, and comply with OSHA regs.
• Attend department trainings and update patient information as needed.
