Job summary

Food Management Search, Inc. in Greer, SC is seeking a Phlebotomist for a 3-month contract with potential for permanent placement. You will perform blood draws, label and process specimens, and ensure accuracy per protocol.

Schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with OSHA compliance training and benefits available. Minimum qualifications include phlebotomy certification and at least 6 months of venipuncture experience.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification valid for the state of employment.
• Minimum of 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, and recording maintenance data.
• Package specimens for transport and verify test requisitions for accuracy.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly to patients and ensure specimen integrity.
• Adhere to OSHA and DEP regulations; attend annual department trainings.
• Maintain patient information and documentation accurately.
