Job summary

6 Degrees Search seeks a phlebotomist in Greer, SC for a 3-month contract with potential for permanent placement. Schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with benefits available.

The role requires at least 6 months of venipuncture experience, a valid phlebotomy certification, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. High school diploma or GED is required. You will perform blood draws, label and process specimens, and follow OSHA/DEP regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and specimen handling following established procedures.
• Label, centrifuge, and store specimens per test orders.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
• Comply with OSHA and DEP regulations and attend annual trainings.
• Document maintenance data and communicate results as required.
