Job summary

Kingfisher Recruiting seeks a Phlebotomist in Charlotte, NC for a contract opportunity with a potential for permanent placement. Schedule is 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The position involves blood draws, specimen labeling and handling, and adherence to OSHA/DEP regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• High School Diploma or GED
• minimum 1 year of experience

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and venipuncture following established procedures.
• Label specimens accurately and manage labeling workflow.
• Centri fuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Decontaminate and store specimens per protocol; ensure correct test requisitions.
• Explain procedures clearly to patients and ensure specimen integrity.
