Job summary

SteveRecruiter, LLC is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role in Castleton-on-Hudson, NY, with alternating Saturdays in Latham, NY. 730am–400pm weekdays; 7am–1pm Saturdays. Projected duration is 3 months with potential for permanent placement.

Must have 2 years of phlebotomy experience and a state phlebotomy certification. Responsibilities include performing blood draws, labeling and processing specimens, and maintaining accurate records. Benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state where employed is required.
• Minimum of 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and venipuncture with accuracy and courtesy.
• Label, centrifuge, store, and transport specimens per procedures.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients and ensure proper paperwork.
