Job summary

Acloché LLC is seeking a Phlebotomist in Columbia, MD for a contract role with potential for permanent placement. The position runs Monday to Friday, 8a-5p, with an estimated duration of 3 months and potential for conversion.

Responsibilities include blood draws, specimen labeling, and safe transport while maintaining patient courtesy and accuracy. Minimum qualifications include a valid phlebotomy certification, at least 6 months venipuncture experience, and 2 years of phlebotomy background.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• 2 years of phlebotomy experience
• Pediatric & geriatric experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and venipuncture; label specimens and ensure proper handling.
• Document maintenance data and decontamination procedures.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly to patients and caregivers.
