• Minimum of 6 months' venipuncture experience in fast-paced lab or hospital
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Experience performing blood draws and labeling specimens
• Centrifuging specimens and recording maintenance data
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously
• Match laboratory requisitions to specimen tubes and label correctly
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper storage temperatures
• Attend annual department trainings
• Answer inquiries and communicate laboratory results
