Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state where employed, if required.
• Minimum of 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• High school diploma or GED required, with relevant certifications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipunctures and collect specimens according to protocol.
• Label, centrifuge, and prepare specimens for testing.
• Update patient information and maintain accurate records.
• Package and transport specimens as required.
• Ensure quality control and compliance with OSHA/DEP regulations.
• Attend annual department trainings.
