Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and collect specimens per standard protocols.
• Label, centrifuge, and prepare specimens for testing and transport.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with OSHA regulations and department trainings.
