Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months' experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• High School Diploma or GED required, plus 2 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens accurately.
• Centrifuge specimens and maintain data records.
• Prepare and decontaminate equipment; ensure specimen integrity during transport.
• Explain venipuncture procedure clearly to patients and obtain consent.
• Match requisitions to specimens and ensure correct labeling and storage.
