Job summary

SteveRecruiter, LLC is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role in Cumming, GA. The position requires hands-on blood collection, labeling, and specimen handling across all age groups. Schedule is 7:15am–4:15pm, M-F, with a project duration of 3 months and potential for permanent placement.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and collect specimens accurately.
• Label, centrifuge, and record maintenance data.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Package specimens for transport and store per protocol.
• Verify physician orders and match requisitions.
• Follow OSHA and DEP regulations and attend trainings.
