Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and labeling in accordance with procedures
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously
• Ensure test requisitions match specimens and label accordingly
• Package specimens for transport and store per protocol
• Adhere to OSHA and DEP regulations and attend trainings
• Answer inquiries and review laboratory results as needed
