Job summary

Keystone Distinction Group in Silver Spring, MD is seeking a Phlebotomist (5598) for a contract role with potential to convert to permanent. Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8am–4pm, 3 months plus potential for perm.

The main duties include blood draws, labeling and processing specimens, accurate data entry, and following all safety and specimen transport procedures in a fast-paced clinical lab. Minimum of 1 year of venipuncture experience and a state phlebotomy certification are required; HS diploma or GED

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification as required by state.
• Minimum of 5 years venipuncture experience in fast-paced labs or hospitals.
• High School Diploma or GED completed.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and venipuncture with accuracy.
• Label, centrifuge, and store specimens per protocol.
• Explain procedures clearly and maintain specimen integrity.
• Ensure OSHA/DEP compliance and attend trainings.
