Job summary

Soap Creek Resources in Rock Hill, SC is seeking a Phlebotomist for a 3-month contract with potential for permanent hire. The shift is 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday, on-site at Rock Hill, SC.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in phlebotomy or related field.

Responsibilities

• Experience performing blood draws and labeling specimens.
• Centrifuging specimens and recording maintenance data.
• Decontamination, updating patient information and proper specimen packaging.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
• Match requisitions to specimen tubes and ensure 100% accuracy.
