Job summary

Vogrinc Search Group is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role in Rock Hill, SC. Working 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday, with an initial 3-month duration and potential for permanent placement.

You will perform blood draws, label and process specimens, and ensure accuracy of patient information and test orders. Required qualifications include a valid phlebotomy certification and at least 6 months of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting, along with a high school diploma

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification required.
• Minimum 6 months venipuncture experience in fast-paced lab or hospital.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in phlebotomy is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and collect specimens per procedures.
• Label, centrifuge, and store specimens accurately.
• Explain venipuncture procedure clearly to patients.
• Record maintenance data and ensure compliance with SOPs.
• Package specimens for transport and verify test requisitions.
• Maintain OSHA and regulatory compliance; attend department trainings.
