Job summary

SteveRecruiter, LLC seeks a Phlebotomist for a 3-month contract in Due West, South Carolina, with a Monday–Friday 8 am–5 pm schedule. Responsibilities include blood draws, specimen labeling, and maintaining accurate records, with potential for permanent placement.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification as required by state.
• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and related phlebotomy tasks.
• Label, centrifuge, and manage specimens and test orders.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure correct labeling.
• Maintain specimen integrity per protocols and OSHA/DEP regulations.
• Attend annual department trainings and assist with workflow improvements.
