SteveRecruiter, LLC is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role in Charlotte, NC. The position involves performing blood draws, specimen labeling, and handling of specimens in a fast-paced lab environment.

Responsibilities include adhering to procedures, documenting data, and communicating results to staff. Requires a valid phlebotomy certification and at least 6 months of venipuncture experience; benefits are available.

Competenze

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• High School Diploma or GED

Mansioni

• Perform blood draws and venipuncture procedures.
• Label specimens, centrifuge and process specimens according to protocol.
• Document maintenance data and decontamination steps.
• Explain procedures clearly to patients and obtain proper consent when required.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper labeling and storage.
• Adhere to OSHA and DEP regulations and participate in annual trainings.
• Answer inquiries and communicate results as needed.
