Job summary

The Keystone Distinction Group in Greer, SC is seeking a contract Phlebotomist (Mon-Fri, 8a-5p) with about 3 months duration and potential conversion to permanent. You will perform venipunctures, label and process specimens, and maintain accurate data under OSHA guidelines.

The role requires 6+ months of venipuncture experience, a state phlebotomy certification, and a high school diploma or GED; MS Office proficiency is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures and explains venipuncture to patients.
• Matches laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes and packages specimens for transport.
• Ensure proper labeling, temperature control and regulatory compliance.
