Meritas Advisory Group, LLC in Owasso, OK is seeking a Phlebotomist for a 3-month contract with potential for permanent placement. Schedule is Mon–Fri 7:00 AM–3:30 PM. Location is on-site in Owasso, OK. Responsibilities include blood draws, specimen labeling, and adherence to safety regulations.

The role requires a phlebotomy certification, 6 months of venipuncture experience, and proficiency with MS Office. Benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsabilités

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously.
• Demonstrate technique with straight and butterfly needles.
• Follow physicians' orders and match requisitions to tubes.
• Package specimens for transport and store per protocol.
• Comply with OSHA and DEP regulations.
• Attend annual department trainings.
• Answer calls and read lab results as needed.
