Horan Hiring Solutions, LLC is seeking a contract Phlebotomist for Glens Falls, NY. Schedule is Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm with alternating Saturday shifts 7am-12pm. Projected duration is 3 months with potential for permanent placement.

Responsibilities include blood draws, labeling, centrifugation, data recording, specimen handling, and adherence to OSHA/DEP regulations. Requires 2+ years phlebotomy experience and valid state certification.

Competenze

Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
High School Diploma or GED.

Mansioni

Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information, etc.
Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
Explain the venipuncture process clearly and courteously; demonstrate techniques with straight or butterfly needles.
Package specimens for transport and ensure proper labeling and temperature control.
Follow OSHA and DEP regulations and attend annual trainings.
